Somehow, people driving into buildings just isn't as abnormal as it should be.

Recently, an impaired driver in B.C. was caught by the cops after driving her bright yellow Mustang right into someone's house. 

To add to the wildness of the story, it was literally the middle of the afternoon.

At approximately 4:10 p.m., frontline officers located a vehicle which had driven into a residence in the 3400-block of 17th Street in Vernon. Police spoke to witnesses on scene and identified the driver.

The whole thing went down on Monday, October 26.

Based on their observations, officers on scene launched an impaired driving investigation. Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP. 

The driver failed a roadside screening device test and was transported to the Vernon RCMP detachment where she provided additional samples of her breath to police.

The woman is 26 years old and she’s facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and “operating a motor vehicle while her blood alcohol exceeded 80 milligrams.”

She's been released and will appear in court at some time in the future.
