If you're somewhat of a mastermind when it comes to naming your pets, then this task is right up your alley. A new member of the attraction is looking for a title, and you can take part in finding one! Theis the cutest decision you'll have to make all week.
On May 12, 2020, the Toronto Zoo welcomed ato its animal family.
The female Masai giraffe has been stealing our hearts ever since with her adorable photos and videos.
So far, the new addition has been referred to as #BabyLongLegs, but the time has finally come for a real name.
Starting today until June 17, you can help choose a title for the baby from a list of eight options.
The Swahili names have all sorts of meanings such as unity and flower.
You can head over to the website and vote on which title you think suits this little critter best.
#BabyLongLegs has already been given the special last name of Innis Dagg.
This is a tribute to Canadian Zoologogist Dr. Anne Innis Dagg, who is known for her enormous contributions to the study of giraffes and for being the first to study them in the wild.
The winning name will be announced on World Giraffe Day, June 21.
#BabyLongLegs is the 19th giraffe to be born at the Zoo since 1980, and she's the first third-generation Toronto-born one.
