Oprah Reveals It Wasn't The Queen Who Had 'Conversations' About Archie's Skin Colour
After the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview with Oprah Winfrey was aired on Sunday night, many viewers have been left wondering who asked questions about baby Archie's skin colour.
As part of the tell-all interview, the couple revealed that there had been “conversations” between members of the royal household about the possible skin colour of Meghan and Harry’s child before he was born.

Meghan, who identifies as mixed-race, told Oprah "In those months when I was pregnant there were concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born.”
Prince Harry later confirmed this, admitting he felt “awkward” and “shocked” by the discussions.
However, neither would reveal who it was that made these comments, with Meghan suggesting it would be “very damaging to them.”
Since then, Oprah has spoken out to confirm that the couple were not referring to the Queen nor Prince Phillip.
In an interview on CBS This Morning, Winfrey explained "[Harry] did not share the identity with me, but he wanted to make sure I knew and if I had an opportunity to share it that it was not his grandmother nor his grandfather that were a part of those conversations."
She also admitted that she had tried to dig further into who was involved in those conversations off-camera, but neither Meghan nor Harry would disclose additional details.
The revelation that some working members of the royal household were involved in such discussions was one of several huge talking-points from the interview.
It was also revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had married in secret days before their official wedding and that Kate Middleton had made Meghan cry just days before the ceremony.
