In an exclusive interview with Oprah, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan's wedding day is three days earlier than anyone actually thought.

While many will remember the big day as a grand televised affair with celebrities and royals in attendance, the Duchess of Sussex reveals that they were already married before they walked down the aisle.

Meghan Markle told Oprah that three days prior to what she called the "spectacle" the couple wanted to celebrate their union in private.

She revealed that they called the Archbishop of Canterbury, who was also the officiant of the big wedding, and he married them in their backyard.

Markle said it was only the Archbishop and the two of them at the intimate ceremony.

It was at this point that Prince Harry chimed in with a little ditty singing, "just the three of us."

The couple also shared that they have a souvenir saved from that special day, saying that the vows they exchanged in private are framed in their bedroom.

Their big, formal wedding day was May 19, 2018.
