Season nine of Big Brother Canada's self-proclaimed "girl next door," Beth Bieda, is a social worker currently living in Edmonton, Alberta.

She grew up on a farm in Tomahawk, A.B., and while she is goofy and adorable, she also said in her cast bio video that she's got a "serious side."

Beth works with Edmonton's homeless population supporting "newly housed homeless adults," her video explained.

"The pandemic was really tough on the homeless population. It changed the way that I see mental health. I kinda took it for granted and I don't want to do that moving forward when this is all over," she said.

Beth has been in a bit of a love triangle with two of the other houseguests, Ty and Jed, but we won't spoil who she chose!
