Start your engines, because a brand new outdoor entertainment centre is coming to the 6ix. Ontario Place's drive-in theatre is opening this week and it will whisk you back in time. Toronto Shines is presenting live entertainment, classic films, and more at a pop-up waterfront drive-in this summer. July 17 Opening date for the drive-in. Set along the shores at Ontario Place, you can enjoy two classic feature films per night, as well as stand-up comedy, musical artists, and other live shows. Some of Toronto's top food trucks will be onsite, and you can get your meals delivered retro-style with roller-blading car hops. Safety protocols are in place to ensure guests' safety. Masks must be worn when making trips to the washroom and visitors must stay inside their vehicles. The drive-in can fit 185 cars per night, and tickets can be purchased in advance on the website.
