A Hamilton party house has been attended to by Hamilton police twice this month for hosting illegal gatherings.

The first party, which took place at a Flamborough residence on March 4, 2021 and saw approximately 150 attendees, was followed by a second party at the same residence attended by up to 200 people, Hamilton police confirmed to Narcity in a statement.

The March 4 party took place while the city of Hamilton was in the red-control zone, which allows for gatherings of five people indoors, and charges were placed on organizers under the Reopening Ontario Act.

On Friday, March 26, Hamilton moved into the grey-lockdown zone, which does not allow any indoor gatherings with members of other households.

Hamilton Police are currently investigating the most recent gathering and Narcity will provide updates as they come.
