Put on a cozy jacket and lace up your boots because you'll want to check out this stunning trail in Ontario this fall. Hunters Bay Trail, located in Huntsville, is a magical place for an autumn stroll.

Boasting vibrant forest views, floating boardwalks and lush apple orchard, this adventure will give you all the fall feels.

The 4.6 kilometre trail winds along a river and dips into an enchanting forest filled with red and gold trees. There are benches located every couple hundred metres so you can take moment to relax and enjoy the views.

You'll pass beneath a railway trestle and wander over 500 metres of floating boardwalk. You'll see the stunning foliage reflected in the water, creating a mirror-like effect of this fall splendour.

Some sections of the boardwalk have built-in benches so you can stay a while and listen to the sound of the waves.

The trail takes you through Orchard Park, which is home to dozens of mature apple trees. You can breathe in the sweet smell of autumn as you stroll beneath the branches. There are several benches and picnic tables in the park where you can stop and enjoy a snack.

If you're looking for more fall hikes in the area, Huntsville boasts several other scenic trails that are worth checking out. Lion's Lookout leads to towering views of the town steeped in shades of red and gold, while Stubb's Falls, located in Arrowhead Provincial Park, will take you to an enchanting waterfall tucked away in a forest.
