Nearly Every Road In Downtown Washington D.C. Is Closed Ahead Of Biden's Inauguration

Just one more day until the era of President Joe Biden begins, but not that many people will be in the nation's capital to celebrate.
Numerous precautions are being put in place across the whole city in response to the COVID-19 pandemic along with the Pro-Trump riots that took place at the Capitol Building nearly two weeks ago.

Bridge Closures
Driving in and around the city will be virtually impossible as all six bridges into the city have been closed by the Secret Service.

On top of that, every road around the White House and the National Mall has been closed, so sightseeing is not an option during Biden's inauguration.

The road and bridge closures are set to last until January 21 at 6 a.m.
In-person attendance is greatly reduced to just a small socially-distanced audience, meaning the inauguration will definitely not be going down in history as one of the most attended ceremonies.
The Secret Service also created a long extensive list of items that are prohibited from the ceremony which can be viewed here.
