On Sunday, June 6, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the birth of their baby girl, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

The baby girl, whose name is a tribute to both Princess Diana and the queen, was born two days earlier, on Friday, June 4.

Here's how the rest of the royal family reacted to the news:

In a statement shared online, Buckingham Palace said the queen was "delighted" by the news and acknowledged that Lilibet would be "Her Majesty's 11th great-grandchild."

At exactly the same time, Prince William and Kate Middleton also shared their well wishes online, offering their congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.

Prince Charles and Camilla also posted online about the birth of the new baby, tweeting that they are "Wishing [the family] all well at this special time," while U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson offered "many congratulations."
