This Vibrant Art Exhibit In Florida Is A Tropical Wonderland Waiting To Be Explored
A colorful dreamland awaits you in South Florida. You can step into a vibrant paradise at the Audubon House in Keywest and feel like you've entered an alternate reality. This incredible spot is reopening to the public next week and features The Audubon Experience, a one-of-a-kind art exhibition that will take your breath away.
Designed by Sasha Bikoff, the Audubon Experience is a display at the Audubon House and Tropical Gardens. This unique art exhibit will be accepting visitors starting Tuesday, June 16, when the museum reopens.
Each room is filled with enchanting colors inviting you to explore deeper. The walls were carefully hand-painted with a tropical design that transports you to a lush rainforest. Look up, and you'll see a ceiling full of gorgeous blooming flowers that hang above your head. Check out the cages full of beautiful birds that look almost real.
The museum itself is situated in a picturesque landscape and has gorgeous gardens you can wander. This one-acre area is bursting with palms, orchids, and herbs, and is often visited by butterflies.
Creative Director Cori Mizrahi Wolfson told Narcity that this exhibit was created in honor of John James Audubon, who depicted "22 species of birds in their true life-size form in the Florida Keys."
"The Audubon House is such a special part of Florida’s history and we want to give guests a reason to keep coming back,” Wolfson said. “This home has been a part of the Wolfson family for generations, our design is truly breathing new life into the space and we hope it continues to be a must-visit and must-Instagram destination in Key West.”*
As you explore this gorgeous spot, you are surrounded by the flora and wildlife native in the Keys.
The exhibit also features holograms of birds fluttering by that further enhance this immersive environment. Take a walk through this oasis or relax on the electric green couch and be instantly enveloped in these exotic surroundings.
