Brampton Just Extended Mandatory Masks & Social Distancing Bylaws Into 2021
You can get fined $500 to $100,000 for breaking the rules.
Residents of Brampton will have to get used to wearing masks and keeping their distance.
City councillors just announced that Brampton's COVID-19 policies will be in place until early 2021.
The decision was made at the most recent council meeting which took place on September 16, reports the Brampton Guardian.
Councillor Paul Vicente commented on the decision.

These include Brampton's COVID-19 Emergency Measures Bylaw and the Mandatory Face Coverings bylaw.
Those who refuse to adhere to physical distancing can face "a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $100,000 for each offence,” the councillor added.

The region of Peel reported 86 new cases on Saturday, September 19, with 52 of those in Brampton.
