$2,625 Fine that four individuals were charged.

The party, which saw at least 10 people gathered indoors, resulted in several charges being issued under the City’s Nuisance Party Bylaw and the Reopening Ontario Act

The offences included nuisance party, failure to comply with Reopening Ontario Act and obstructing an officer from doing their duty.

The four of the residents, who lived at the property, were each charged with a total of $2,625 in fines.

This brings the total amount of charges up to $10,500.

This isn't the first time Guelph has dealt with some illegal gatherings.

The University of Guelph reported last month that multiple cases of COVID-19 had been traced to its East Village Townhouses after campus gatherings.
