Ontario Police Searched A Car At A Traffic Stop & Found Two Teens In The Trunk
A routine traffic stop turned into something quite unique in Guelph last week when the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) uncovered two teenagers in the trunk of a car.
According to an OPP release, police officers stopped a white sedan at a routine traffic stop when they smelled cannabis in the car and started a search.

Police say the white sedan pulled up to a R.I.D.E. stop — a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere traffic stop — at 11:30 p.m. on December 12.
During the search, police say they discovered one of the passengers in possession of an open container of alcohol.
And then the police popped the trunk and found two more passengers — who, needless to say, were not adhering to proper car safety precautions.
Police say that seven people were in the car in total.
Two 18-year-olds from Toronto and Oakville have been charged with driving without wearing a seatbelt.
A 19-year-old from Oakville was charged for having liquor in an open container, and another 19-year-old from Oakville was charged for unlawful purchase of cannabis.
