Canada is sending in health care workers from the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Red Cross to help get Ontario's third wave under control.
With ICU occupancy on the rise, Ontario requested federal help earlier today and Canada didn't take long to reply.

Bill Blair, Canada's Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, said the Army and the Red Cross will provide medical personnel, health resources, and logistical and administrative support.
"We will continue to work with Ontario to keep Canadians safe and healthy," Blair tweeted on Monday afternoon.
"We will stop at nothing to make sure no capacity nor resource to support Ontario's hospitals goes untapped," said Stephen Warner, a spokesperson for Ontario's Solicitor General, when the request was made earlier on Monday.
