After a short blast of snow and winter weather over the long weekend, it looks like parts of Ontario are switching gears and warming up with unseasonably high temperatures for the next few days, but it'll be short-lived.

Before the cold sets back in later in the week, in some areas, the temperatures will feel more like spring rather than mid-February, according to The Weather Network.

For Wednesday, February 21, Toronto and the GTA can expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures more typical of late March. For Toronto, you can likely ditch your parka as it'll be about 7 C, with the rest of the GTA hovering between 5 C and 9 C.

On February 22, although there is a possibility of showers, most of the day will be dry and temperatures will be typical of early April with Peterborough, Newmarket, Guelph, Kitchener, Oakville and Hamilton all expecting to see 10 C or higher.

"Friday will be cloudy with peeks of sun," says TWN. "Temperatures will be mild through mid-day, then temperatures will quickly fall during the afternoon as a strong cold front crosses our region."

The GTA can expect to see weather ranging from 0 C to 5 C, and going into Saturday, it'll be even colder with temperatures expected to be a few degrees colder than seasonal.

Just as you get accustomed to the cold again, the weather is going to flip next week with temperatures typical of April likely to be seen on Tuesday.
