On a video conference held Wednesday, Orlando Magic player James Ennis confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing symptoms for about a week, but has officially rejoined the team and started practicing again this week.

Wednesday was Ennis’ first practice back with the team in the NBA bubble at Disney World, as he described to reporters at the conference that he was feeling much better and working to get his wind back up.

I’m just happy to be back on the court. Trying to get my legs under me and trying to get back in rhythm.

The NBA baller recounted experiencing headaches for four to five days, with the first 24 hours having him the most down and throwing up, but Ennis said his health is now much better.

Last week, the team checked into the Grand Floridian, patiently quarantining while they waited for players to be approved after multiple negative tests before resuming team practices.

Ennis was the only player reported to have tested positive, but another member, Markelle Fultz, did not join the bubble while working through personal situations. Nearly four months ago, the NBA suspended the season after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for COVID-19.
