Located roughly four hours from Toronto and just over one hour from Ottawa, this pretty little town is full of charm. And you won't need to board a plane to get there, either.

If you want to feel like you're walking through a storybook while you're here, then you need to take a stroll through Stewart Park.

Calm waters, a gorgeous gazebo, and a tiny footbridge will have you wanting to lounge under the shade trees all day long.

If you start to get hungry, there's a wide variety of stunning restaurants to choose from.

Fiddleheads Bar and Grill and are two restaurants you won't want to miss on your Perth trip.

With stunning patios that offer views for days, you'll have as much fun soaking in the scenery as you will devouring your meal.

At Mex & Co you'll be right next to the water, and Fiddleheads has an indoor atrium that's decked out with plant-covered stone walls and a rushing water fountain that is sure to steal your heart.

So if you've been daydreaming about skipping around the streets of France, then Perth is your perfect (and affordable) alternative.
