More jobs incoming! That's what the federal government is promising thousands of Canadians within the next 3 years. 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government announced they will be working to improve Canadian infrastructure all while dishing out 60,000 jobs across the country, which comes with a $10 billion price tag.

The new announcement comes after Canada's plan to boost economic growth and create one million jobs after the pandemic unforgivingly hurt the economy.

While many Canadians are back at work, many others are still looking.

Trudeau made the announcement with Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna in a conference Thursday.

"Through our agreement with provinces and territories, Infrastructure Canada has invested $10 billion in infrastructure projects which will improve the lives of Canadians from coast-to-coast," Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna said.

According to McKenna, over $20 billion in federal funding is still available and provinces and territories have access to this funding as of now.

Trudeau said through the Canada Infrastructure Bank, this three-year growth plan will invest in everything from clean power, zero-emission buses to jobs for youth.
