It’s been yet another record-breaking day for Canada’s Capital. On Tuesday, the number of COVID-19 cases in Ottawa shot up by 105, making it the biggest single-day increase since the beginning of the pandemic.

By confirming that over 100 people had tested positive in the last 24 hours, the city surpassed it’s previous one-day record of 93 new cases.

The previous all-time-high was set just last week, as the number of people getting sick in the region continues to climb.
