We're seeing right across the country, the numbers are heading in the right direction but we're not at the end yet. Justin Trudeau

Trudeau said that numbers are going down right across Canada.

However, that doesn't mean we're in the clear just yet.

"The numbers are heading in the right direction but we're not at the end yet," the prime minister said.

Trudeau also noted that we're all still going to have to "hang in there."

Recently, Dr. Theresa Tam also shared some optimistic news about the pandemic in Canada.

She said that the country is seeing "hopeful signs" that COVID-19 activity is going down, with active cases dropping by almost 30%.
