If you live for all things Halloween, then Pumpkins After Dark was made for you. At this event, you'll find an after-dark walk illuminated by hand-carved jack-o-lantern masterpieces! Now that's pumpkin to talk about.

The award-winning Pumpkins After Dark show will be returning to select locations for another year and its Ontario location can be found only an hour away from Toronto, in the small town of Milton.

But this exciting installation is not just limited to Ontario folks. In fact, Pumpkins After Dark can be found across Canada. While Milton is the only Ontario location, Albertans can enjoy the impenetrable gaze of hollowed-out pumpkins in either Calgary or Edmonton. Pumpkins After Dark can also be found in Burnaby, B.C.

This lit, walk-through pumpkin patch is a surefire hit to help attendees savour the spooky season.

The Milton location, which opened on September 23, will be open until November 5 but eager participants should check to see what their closest location's dates are.

Each walk-through pumpkin art field is approximately 1km long and can feature "over 6,000+ hand-carved pumpkins."

The walk-through pumpkin patches are complete with "music, sounds and special effects," and each location features a concession stand with treats (like hot chocolate and even in some places a Beavertails truck), as well as live pumpkin carving demonstrations with the artists.

Each location has differing degrees of accessibility, but despite being called a walk-through show Pumpkins After Dark has

Organizers suggest that "most guests spend 45-60 minutes" admiring the illuminated orange art. And even if you are a returning participant this year there's still tons to see, since the show features a whole new set of sculptures to see each year.

Tickets in each location cost $21.95 CAD for adults and $17.95 for children 4-16 years old. Tickets are only eligible for purchase online, so don't forget to buy ahead of time!

The show operates no matter the weather, so keep in mind that that's a lot of outdoor time! Attendees should make sure that their cute fall fits feature enough layers to keep them warm outside once the sun goes down.

When booking the tickets, it comes in 15-minute time blocks but not to worry! You won't get kicked out, organizers say that time slots are to "control the flow of guests arriving to the event." However, those who happen to arrive a little late will still have their tickets honoured. Phew!

So go ahead, and book your ticket to take a walk amongst these glowy pumpkins!
