Five years later, I’m still in awe of Deadpool fans. Hunter wrote me this letter after Deadpool came out and somehow my response never got mailed. Ryan Reynolds

In March 2016, a fan named Hunter reached out to the actor to give him props for his performance in the action movie Deadpool.

The fan also asked if Reynolds could give them some "advice on being more badass." They revealed that they wrote the letter for an English project in which they had to write to someone they looked up to.

"You were the first person to pop in my head," Hunter wrote.

Hunter ended the letter by saying "P.S. I'd even take an autograph from Ryan Reynolds too!"

Reynolds responded with humour, just like you'd expect.

"Honestly, I'm not sure I'm badass or English paper worthy but I'll give you the best advice I ever got: commit to one thing. For me, it's acting." he wrote.

"Acting and I are like Tom Brady and New England: together forever."

The interaction ended with the pair wanting to get together for a beer but Reynolds admitting he would be tied up for a while with filming and because his wife, Blake Lively, was pregnant at the time with their second child.
