Blake Lively Joked That She's Pregnant & Ryan Reynolds' Response Doesn't Disappoint

Some celebrities have very strange relationships. As Ryan Reynolds' Instagram sometimes proves, he and his wife Blake Lively share a very particular sense of humour. His latest post shows the couple commenting back and forth in their usual way.

In a July 23 post to his feed, Reynolds highlights his film Buried, sharing a clip from it that has been edited to include bottles of Aviation gin, as well as the company's logo.

"Before Deadpool, I was an actor. One of my favorite projects was a film called “Buried” and it’s now on @Hulu," he writes, "10 years later, it really holds up! Although I don’t recall the aggressive product placement. #Buried."

The comment section includes some responses from other famous people, but it was Blake Lively's that got the Canadian actor's attention.

"I think this just got me pregnant," Lively wrote, prompting a hilarious reply from her husband.

"I will be out of the office starting July 22nd through the middle of forever and ever," Reynolds replies, "If you need immediate assistance during my absence, please contact someone. anyone. Otherwise I will respond to your message as soon as possible upon my unlikely return. Thank you."

The response humorously highlights the anxiety that some men might feel if their partners told them they were pregnant. What makes it funnier is the fact that Reynolds and Lively already have three children.

Their youngest daughter was born just last year. The pair kept Lively's pregnancy under wraps and shared an adorable photo with the new member of the family in October 2019.

The Hollywood couple has often trolled each other on social media, showing that they share the same sensibilities when it comes to joking around.

Earlier this year, Reynolds posted some fairly unflattering photos of his wife for her birthday. She laughed it off during an interview, but also said she would find a way to get revenge.
