The various officer positions that Service Canada is hiring for include:

  • Citizen Services and Passport Officers — work directly with clients to provide guidance and access to federal programs and services
  • Payment Service Officers — work at the inbound call centre to help people with EI, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and more benefits
  • Payment Service Officers and Program Service Officers — process claims for EI, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, and other federal benefits
  • Integrity Services Officers — inform people of their rights and obligations related to benefits they receive, and conduct simple investigations to prevent, detect and address fraud

Training will be provided if you get hired.

Service Canada jobs are expected to be available in locations across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

The salary for officer positions ranges from $61,786 to $69,106 a year.

People residing in Canada, Canadian citizens, and Canadian permanent residents abroad can apply.

You only need a high school diploma to get hired.
