Demand for the COVID-19 vaccine continues to exceed supply in California, which is why some vaccine sites are taking steps to slow the crowd.

CBS Sacramento reports three Valley vaccination site locations are currently being kept a secret in an attempt to reduce the crowds of people waiting to get the shot, and there's only one way to find out where they are.

We say we have your dose ready, get here within 15 minutes. Dr. Cindy Schorzman told CBS Sacramento

In order to find a location, you must first confirm your appointment to get a dose of the vaccine.

You will then receive a message when your dose is ready, giving you about 15 minutes to get to the location and take the shot.

“There are some people who will try to sneak in,” Dr. Schorzman told CBS Sacramento, “We do have security on-site and we’re appreciative of them for anyone who has difficulty understanding the tier system and is really insistent.”

The three vaccination sites have a goal of administering 500 doses per week, but they are looking to do more when more resources become available.
