We all know that our country is full of diverse natural beauty and cityscapes, and the best cities in Canada have just been announced by Travel+Leisure.

The publication asked readers to rate cities based on their "sights and landmarks, culture, cuisine, friendliness, shopping, and overall value," and these Canadian destinations have been ranked as the top five in the country.

#1 Quebec City

With fabulous food and an old-school European flair, Quebec City was a clear winner among readers. From visiting the Plains of Abraham to wandering around the downtown core, there's something in this city to tickle everyone's fancy.

Is there anything better than fresh seafood? Crack into a lobster (that was probably caught that day) and enjoy the quaint and scenic views of Peggy's Cove.
