Toronto police say they've found a vehicle used in the alleged parental abduction of three children, but have not yet tracked down the children or their mother.

Police say they were called Friday morning after the kids were allegedly taken by their mother during a semi-supervised visit.

They say the children were visiting a relative at the time, and the mother does not have legal custody of her children.

Police say they continue to look for the 22-year-old mother and her children, the oldest of whom is six.

They're also still looking for the owner of the vehicle, a 25-year-old man who is a person of interest in the case.

Investigators say he is wanted on four unrelated charges of failing to comply with release orders.
