With the TikTok sea shanty trend getting huge, a famous Canadian is getting in on it and duetting with someone on one of his songs.

Alan Doyle, who's known for being in the Canadian band Great Big Sea which performed sea shanties among other songs, shared a video of him singing "Bully Boys" on TikTok.

In the video, Doyle is outdoors and showing off the Newfoundland scenery before he turns the camera on himself.

He sang the duet of his song with musician Sam Pope.

They took turns singing lines and sometimes sang together.

At one point Doyle started ad-libbing the lyrics and sang how this was actually his first time on TikTok.

At the end of the video, he said, "Cheers from Newfoundland."

Doyle isn't the only famous Canadian who has taken part in a TikTok trend recently — Jagmeet Singh has been doing it too.
