One of the best parts of the holidays is being able to lounge around, watch as much TV as you want, and take it easy.

There's a ton of binge-worthy content on Netflix and if you're having trouble deciding, we've narrowed it down to some series that were actually filmed in the GTA! 

Without further ado, here are seven Netflix TV shows to watch over the holidays that you probably didn't know were filmed in Toronto.

The Queen's Gambit

While most of The Queen's Gambit was filmed in Germany, a number of scenes were also filmed right here in Toronto.

The show filmed on Front Street, St. Lawrence Market and in some residential areas on Yonge Street, Props Master Rachel Heacock told Narcity.

They also filmed a few scenes in Cambridge, Ontario.

Locke and Key has filmed in a number of different places in Toronto, including The Maple Leaf Tavern, Dineen Coffee, and Ripley's Aquarium.

Last week, Tiny Pretty Things was trending on Netlflix Canada, meaning it was one of the platform's most-watched shows.

The production was filming all over Toronto during 2019.

They frequented spots such as The Royal Conservatory of Music, the Fork York Historic Site, The Thompson Hotel, and The Royal Ontario Museum.
