After over two months of closure, Ontario's largest mountain resort is officially reopening for the summer this week.

Blue Mountain Resort announced in a press release that it will be resuming some activities starting this Friday, June 4.

Reopening attractions include the open-air gondola, the Mill Pond Activity Centre, the rock climbing wall, Cascade Putting, the Chutes and Lumber Ball Run, and the low ropes and high ropes courses.

Visitors will also be able to explore parts of the newly enhanced Explore Park, which features over 30 kilometres of trails as well as mountaintop bike trails, which are reopening this weekend.

Other attractions such as the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster and Segways will return during step one of the province's reopening.

If you're planning on visiting the resort, be sure to purchase passes in advance, as walk-up tickets will not be available this summer, and safety regulations such as limited capacity and distancing will be in place .
