According to a statement by Canada Post to CTV Toronto, the crown corporation asked 350 employees who work the same shift to self-isolate at home to prevent further transmission.

The latest data shows that 190 workers at the facility have tested positive so far.

The facility has been conducting rapid testing for COVID-19 on location and anyone who refuses to participate will be asked to self-isolate for 14 days.

Canada Post didn't specify the exact locations of the potential service disruptions but said to expect delays in "many destinations" in Canada.

Just last week, the facility reported 121 cases among employees since January 1. Canada Post said to Narcity at the time that was able to remain open and maintain operations.
