You never know who you'll bump into on the streets of Toronto, and in March that could be a star of a major Hollywood production.

Many stars will be in the Canadian city in March working on big projects like Netflix's new Frankenstein film or Paramount Plus' Star Trek series.

That means actors like Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac, Michelle Yeoh and Alan Ritchson are in Toronto.

Here are all the productions filming in the city and the stars tied to each project.

Frankenstein

Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein movie is currently filming in Toronto.

In January, Deadline reported Jacob Elordi would replace Andrew Garfield as the iconic monster.

Oscar Isaac will play Victor Frankenstein in the film. The cast also includes Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley and Christian Convery, according to IMDb.

The website says the Netflix film will follow Dr. Pretorious who needs to "track down Frankenstein's monster who is believed to have died in a fire 40 years before in order to continue the experiments of Dr. Frankenstein."

On February 23, Elordi posted a photo of Frankenstein to his Instagram stories, possibly indicating the beginning of production.

A release date for the film is unknown at this point.

Filming is scheduled to wrap up in July.

Reacher Season 3

Alan Ritchson is filming Season 3 of the popular Amazon Prime series Reacher.

Ritchson has been spotted filming various scenes around the Greater Toronto Area in recent weeks.

On February 8, @andrewbent tweeted photos of Ritchson, who plays Jack Reacher, filming a scene in downtown Toronto around The Esplanade, east of Church Street.

Other photos also show production trucks parked at Liberty Meadows Park in Toronto and at a"base camp set up at the Small Arms Academy building," which is located on Lake Shore Blvd W.

Two new cast members have been announced for the upcoming season. Variety reports Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy have joined the series as regulars for the upcoming season.

According to Esquire, Maria Sten, who has been in Seasons 1 and 2 as Master Sergeant Francis Neagly, will also be back.

Season 3 will be based on Lee Child's book Persuade.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in mid-February, Ritchson shared that production is wrapping up.

Ritchson will be heading to another Canadian city (Vancouver) shortly afterwards to work on a new film Playdate with Kevin James.

Star Trek: Section 31

Crazy Rich Asians actress Michelle Yeoh is in Toronto working on her latest project, a new Paramount+ movie called Star Trek: Section 31.

The Oscar-winning actress will play Emperor Philippa Georgiou who "joins a secret division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets and faces the sins of her past," as per an IMDb description.

Production on Star Trek: Section 31 will continue until mid-March, according to Hollywood North Buzz.

The cast also includes Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, and Sam Richardson.

The movie is slated to be released sometime in 2025.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Trekkies will be happy to know another Star Trek production is also being filmed in Toronto.

Filming of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 is underway at the CBS Stages Canada in Mississauga.

Hollywood North Buzz reports there was a delay during production due to the Hollywood strikes, but filming resumed in December 2023.

The Paramount+ show is a prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series and follows "the crew of the USS Enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike," according to IMDb.

The series stars Ethan Peck, Anson Mount, Christina Chong and Melissa Navia.

Production on Season 3 will wrap up in May.

The Madness

A new Netflix limited series starring The Color Purple actor Colman Domingo is filming in Toronto.

The show is called The Madness and will have eight episodes when it airs on the streaming service.

According to Netflix, the series is a "conspiracy thriller." Domingo will play Muncie Daniels who is "forced to prove his innocence (and fight for his life) after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the wooded Pocono mountains."

No other cast has been announced at this point.

Skymed Season 3

Canadian TV show Skymed is coming back for a third season and production begins in March.

The Paramount+ show follows "high-stakes medical rescues, heartbreaks and tribulations of budding nurses and pilots flying air ambulances," according to IMDb.

It stars Natasha Calis as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom as Crystal, Praneet Akilla as Chopper and Aaron Ashmore as Wheezer.

A new medical drama Doc is coming to Fox and a Canadian actress is set to be the lead star.

Deadline reports Molly Parker will play Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at a hospital in Minneapolis. Parker's character suffers a brain injury which erases the last eight years of her life.

The show will follow Amy as she navigates "an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away."

The show is a spinoff of a popular Italian series Doc — Nelle tue mani.

The new series started production in Ontario in late February and is expected to continue until June.

Fear Street: Prom Queen

In January, author R.L. Stine confirmed in a tweet that a new movie based on his 1992 Fear Street series is in the works.

The Prom Queen is a Netflix film that starts production in late March.

Few details have been announced about the film. If the movie follows the plot of the books then it will be about five prom queen candidates who get murdered one by one.

"Lizzie McVay realizes that someone is murdering the five Prom Queen candidates one by one -- and that she may be next on the list! Can she stop the murderer before the dance is over -- for good?" the description on R.L. Stine's website reads.

The cast of the film hasn't been revealed.

What We Do in the Shadows

Filming of Season 6 of the vampire comedy What We Do in the Shadows is underway in Toronto.

The FX show follows the "nightly lives of four vampires who have lived together on Staten Island for over a century."

It stars Kayvan Novak as Nandor, Matt Berry as Laszlo Cravensworth, Natasia Demetriou as Nadja and Harvey Guillén as Guillermo de la Cruz.

Fans of the show have set up a Reddit page listing all the locations in Toronto where the show has been filmed over the years.

Production on Season 6 is scheduled to wrap up in April. As for when it will premiere, that has not been announced.
