Love is in the air. Toronto Maple Leafs' Ilya Mikheyev, who recently signed a two-year contract extension with the team, has been busy living it up with his partner in the 6ix.

The right-winger, who won Toronto’s hearts with his love of soup, and girlfriend Kristina Shcherba, have been posting cute photos from day trips to conservation areas, quarantine fashion shows, and more.

This year may have been far from normal for all of us, but these two look like they're making the most of it.

In true Candian fashion, Scherba can be seen posing with a Tim Hortons Iced Capp by the water in Toronto.

When quarantine boredom strikes, these two are know how to have a silly good time. Just look at this chic pillow couture.

Scherba, according to her Instagram profile, is involved in rhythmic gymnastics, has a bachelor’s degree in construction, and a master’s in engineering.

And as Mikheyev pointed out, she makes some pretty good soup, too.

Like many other couples, Mikheyev and his boo made a trip out to Niagara Falls earlier in the year.

The loving pair also took full advantage of all Toronto has to offer, stopping at popular spots like Casa Loma and The Hockey Hall of Fame.

Here's to many more Toronto dates for everyone’s favourite soup-loving Leaf and his partner in crime.
