The outbreaks reportedly occurred in Senior Kindergarten/Grade 1 and Full-Day Kindergarten A.

The Public Health Sudbury and Districts announced on Tuesday that it is working closely with the school to help curb the spread.

Effective immediately on Wednesday, the school has now shifted back to remote learning.

The news of the outbreak comes only a week after the school was allowed to reopen.

Sudbury welcomed students back to their classrooms on January 11, along with multiple other northern Ontario school boards.

Yet, southern Ontario schools still remain closed across the province.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams is scheduled to announce a list of return dates today.
