You can buy a smaller turkey this year. Ontario's gathering limits are going to affect the size of Thanksgiving get-together you can have this year.
The new measures announced by Doug Ford on September 19 apply to every region of the province and mean you can only have 10 people together indoors and 25 outside.
They will be in place for 28 days.
The date when the new restrictions are set to end
With Thanksgiving falling on October 12 this year, that means that any family parties or get-togethers with friends have to be capped.
If you have more than the allowed number, either inside or out, the host of the event could face a $10,000 fine and anyone who attends could be fined $750.
The new rules don't apply to staffed venues like banquet halls, restaurants, movie theatres, places of worship and gyms.
However, if you are within two metres of someone not in your social bubble you have to wear a mask.
