Canada's East Coast is known for its colourful buildings and sparkling shorelines. While it's a bit of a hike from Ontario, you don't need to go far to experience some of its dreamy vibes. This beach located a few hours from Toronto will transport you across the country. With a gorgeous pier and charming buildings lining the shore, you can enjoy a little piece of the East Coast at Ontario's Port Stanley Beach.

This charming beach and town have got to be on your bucket list this summer.

Port Stanley boasts a stunning sandy shoreline and quaint town that will make you feel as though you're relaxing on the East Coast.

The beach is one of 27 in Canada that have earned Blue Flag status for its water quality and safety standards.

The colourful houses sprinkled along the shore will give you some summer coastal vibes, and you can wander along the stretching pier that ends with a little lighthouse.

Down the road from the main beach, you can find the secluded Little Beach, which features 185 metres of quiet sandy shores.

No trip to the beach is complete without ice cream, and you can stop by Broderick's retro shop for some sweet treats.

The 1950s-style store has over 30 flavours and handmade waffle cones for you to cool off with.

You can also sip some boozy drinks at GT's on the beach. This shoreline bar has a patio brimming with umbrellas where you can enjoy a meal and cocktails.

The town offers lots of quaint cafes and boutiques for you to explore once you've gotten your tanning and swimming fill.

It's a good idea to check the websites before heading out to find out the most up-to-date information.
