Ontarians will have the chance to book Sunwing flights to sunny getaway destinations this upcoming winter.

The airline has announced that it's resuming trips to popular vacation spots like Varadero, Cancun and Punta Cana starting in December 2021.

London International Airport and Thunder Bay International Airport will have weekly flights to all three of these tropical places until mid-April 2022. Residents of Windsor will get to jet off to Cayo Santa Maria and Varadero, and Waterloo International Airport will have weekly trips to Cancun.

Plus, Sunwing is resuming flights between North Bay and Cancun, as well as Sudbury and Varadero each week from December to April.

The airline told Narcity that "winter schedules for Hamilton and Toronto's [Pearson Airport] are currently being finalized and more details will be announced soon."

Air Canada is also announcing the start of non-stop flights to Hawaii that will take off this December from Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
