One of Toronto's most popular street festivals is taking place this weekend, and it sounds like it's going to be delicious.

From June 14 to 16, the Taste of Little Italy Festival will be taking over a portion of College Street from Bathurst to Shaw and the lineup of over 200 local businesses to shop and dine at looks incredible.

Some of the sights to take in include a live tiramisu competition, a pasta-eating competition, an authentic Neapolitan pizza masterclass, extra virgin olive oil demonstrations, a broadcast of Italy’s first match of the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship and folk and opera performances.

"Featuring Italo–Canadian musicians, indulge in delicious street eats, and enjoy everything Italian," says the festival. "Featuring a projection art show unveiling the stories of our neighbourhood. Plus, experience more Italian culture than ever with Italea, hosting special activities including a focus on Lazio, Basilicata, and Molise regions of Italy."

Keep in mind that due to road closures, getting around the area might be difficult so plan ahead and take into account the TTC diversions and temporary route changes for the weekend.
