After missing out on any 2021 Grammys nominations, The Weeknd is not holding back.

According to the New York Times, the pop star released a statement on Thursday that he would no longer be submitting music for consideration to the Grammys because of their "secret committees."

The Weeknd criticized the Grammys back in November 2020 when he missed out on any nominations despite his number one record "After Hours."

The Weeknd's problem is with the Grammys' expert committees, which pick who gets onto the nomination shortlists, according to Vox.

But The Weeknd has support — both Drake and Justin Bieber have called the award show out in the past, so at least the Canadian musicians are sticking together!
