As the Prime Minister has said in the past, Canada is not out of the woods yet, and Toronto's COVID-19 cases are an indicator that there is still work to do.

During a September 25 press conference, Dr. Eileen de Villa, Toronto's Medical Officer of Health, said that the 236 new daily cases within the city should serve as a "warning" to everyone.

Dr. de Villa urged Torontonians to continue taking every measure they can to stay safe and to avoid further spread of the virus.

That included the standard advice of maintaining physical distance, wearing a mask whenever possible, and washing your hands often.

In addition to the latest case count, it was also announced that Toronto Public Health has officially declared an outbreak at Glen Park Public School.

Provincial measures intended to decrease the spread of COVID-19 were announced by Premier Doug Ford today.

These included new rules regarding when restaurants are required to stop serving alcohol and when they must close.

It was also mandated that strip clubs across the province must shut down.
