Gorgeous Black Foxes Keep Popping Up All Over Toronto (PHOTOS)

The city may be full of wildlife, but one type of Toronto fox has been turning heads over the past few weeks. 

Multiple foxes with gorgeous black fur and a white-tip tail have been spotted throughout the city. 

The majestic looking critters appear to be making a home in multiple spots across the 6ix including Queen's Park, Christie Pits, and Humber Bay.

"I saw this little guy in Humber Bay Park," wrote one Twitter user. "I've never seen a black fox before."

Tiziana A. Gelmi-Candusso, a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Toronto, told Narcity that cameras were set-up throughout the city last week to monitor the foxes and coyotes population.

"Black foxes are generally quite rare," Candussa stated. "There must've been a littler of black pups [...] now they are moving around the city trying to find their own home territories."

Narcity has reached out to the Toronto Wildlife Centre for more information. 

Torontonians also became enamoured with a litter of baby foxes back in May after their den was discovered under the Woodbine beach boardwalk.
