A Toddler Has Died After Falling Off The 14th Floor Of A Toronto Apartment

Police are investigating.

Police are now investigating after a Toronto toddler died from falling off the 14th floor of an apartment. 

On Tuesday evening, police were called to the Driftwood and Yorkwoods area after receiving a 911 call from a resident who spotted the child.

Child was taken to a trauma centre, he has succumbed to his injuries.


Toronto Police Service

The two-year-old was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. 

According to CTV,  it is still unclear whether or not the child fell from the balcony or an open window. 

Police are currently treating the death as suspicious.
