It used to be the family home of a Canadian prime minister!
Next time you're in need of some pampering, you can head to this fancy new beauty salon that just opened in a historic Yorkville mansion.
Run by 24-year-old Raquel DaSilva, LASHGOD is a hub for all things beauty and includes services, an academy, and a retail space.
Filled with modern chic decor, the salon offers lash extensions, hair colouring, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and more.
The 600-square-foot rooftop patio is a dreamy place to get pampered, and you can enjoy treats like charcuterie boards, chocolate, and coffee while getting your nails done. Plus, all of the food is complimentary!
The building itself has hosted some notable individuals over the years and even served as a family home to Mackenzie King who went on to become the 10th prime minister of Canada.
In the early 2000s, the mansion was used as a management office and was a hangout spot for celebrities like The Rolling Stones.
This is the second LASHGOD location in the city the first one having opened at Don Mills in 2019. Enjoy beauty services, rooftop views, and treats at this fancy new spot in Toronto.
