There's a new ranking that breaks down the "most overpriced universities in the world."

The University of Toronto is the only Canadian post-secondary school that made the list!

Edumentors, a U.K.-based online tutoring platform, analyzed the world's top universities to find out which schools are overpriced.

It looked at tuition prices, costs of living, employment rates and starting salaries for recent graduates.

Universities in the U.S., U.K., and Australia are some of the most overpriced because of high tuition fees and living costs, according to Edumentors.

Even with high costs, some universities have high salaries and employability rates for graduates.

The University of Toronto ranked 25th and is the only Canadian university on the most overpriced universities in the world ranking.

According to this ranking, the overall cost of studying at the university is $86,946 due to an average tuition of $61,720 and a cost of living of $25,226.

But it's not all bad news for U of T.

Edumentors found that 98.7% of graduates from U of T find a job and the median average starting salary is $97,000 for grads.

That's why the university isn't higher on the ranking.

Here are the top 10 most overpriced universities in the world, according to the new ranking:

  1. UCL — London, UK
  2. Northwestern University — Evanston, US
  3. University of Oxford — Oxford, UK
  4. Imperial College London — London, UK
  5. Columbia University — New York City, US
  6. KTH Royal Institute of Technology — Stockholm, Sweden
  7. University of Cambridge — Cambridge, UK
  8. Cornell University — Ithaca, US
  9. Qatar University — Doha, Qatar
  10. University of California Berkeley (UCB) — Berkeley, US
