Sometimes things just don't go as planned. In fact, a B.C. woman fell through the ceiling of a restaurant while in the middle of a plot to skip her bill.

Burnaby Police shared a video of the wild scene along with a bit of background.

"Trying to skip out on the restaurant bill, she crawled above the kitchen ceiling from the washroom," they wrote.

In the middle of her escape, she fell through the kitchen ceiling and landed right in front of the cops who were on the hunt for her.

Burnaby Police say she wasn't hurt.

The fall was abrupt, absolutely shocking, and honestly one of the more outrageous things we've seen in a while.

Somehow, the officer who approaches her looks pretty unphased and just strolls up and grabs her by the arm.

We're dying to know how expensive her bill was because she was willing to go to this length to dodge it.
