Sylvester Stallone Just Got a Life-Sized Rambo Statue In BC & He's 'Very Proud' (PHOTOS)

Did you know First Blood of the Rambo movie franchise was filmed in Hope, B.C.? 

Well, now no one will forget. A giant, wooden Rambo statue has been erected in the town and Sylvester Stallone is over the moon about it according to a recent post on Instagram.

Stallone said he's "very proud" of the life-sized Rambo statue.

The artist responsible is from Edmonton, and he also received a shout out from the celebrity.  

Hope is very proud of being the backdrop to the hit films, so much so that they even have maps outlining filming locations.
