It used to be one of the most fun date nights in the city but the Vancouver aquarium is closing to the public for now.
According to Ocean Wise, they've decided to "pause public programming" and they're going to focus instead on a new way forward that's more financially stable.
Decline in ticket sales
This decision comes after they had a three-month-long closure due to COVID-19 and a huge dip in funding coming from the public visitors.
September 7 will be their last day until further notice that you can go visit.
Don't worry about the animals, though, because they'll still be cared for by a team of dedicated staff.
