Close To 1000 People Are Self-Isolating For COVID-19 In BC
The effects of the province's latest COVID-19 spike is larger than the reported cases, as hundreds are now self-isolating in B.C.
In her latest news conference on Wednesday, July 22, B.C.'s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced 34 new cases as the recent spike continues upward.

There are now close to 1,000 British Columbians in every authority who are self-isolating at home.

Henry said that these people are self-isolating because "they have been exposed to somebody who has been positive for this virus."
The number of currently self-isolating people equals almost a third of all the province's confirmed cases since the pandemic began, which is 3,362.
Henry said to protect your friends and family, keep your bubble small to avoid exposing potentially more people to the virus.
