Located in Minaki, Ontario, this cozy getaway is quite the trek from Toronto. But with scenery like this and reasonable prices, we think it’s worth the road trip to get there.

So grab your sunhats and unicorn floaties, it’s time for some good old-fashioned Ontario glamping before the sun sets on summer.

There are a number of yurts on the property that you can rent, including an adorable tipi style yurt, and another that looks like something straight out of The Hobbit

But the views you’ll get from the Lakeside Yurt are pretty hard to beat.

The wooden glamping hub is situated right on the edge of a small lake, which is perfect for a wake and swim.

You’ll also find 15 kilometres worth of trails here, so you can get your hike on while you stay.

Basically, it’s an adventure lovers’ dream destination.

At night, you can gaze at a clear sky full of stars before you head inside, where you’ll find a warm fireplace and a comfy bed decked out with linen and bamboo sheets.

In the main area of this camp, you’ll find both a wood-fired sauna and wood-fired pizza oven, so you can relax and get your snack on.

The Lakeside Yurt is available to rent year-round and will cost $125 per night.

You can bring your fur baby along as well, but there will be an additional $10 per night fee for that. Your little buddy will love this place, though, so it's worth it.

You can e-transfer your payments or bring cash upon arrival, but credit cards are not accepted.
